Kebijakan ini menjadi bagian dari pelonggaran makroprudensial untuk mendorong pertumbuhan kredit sekaligus menjaga stabilitas sistem keuangan.

Perpanjangan tersebut mencakup ketentuan rasio Loan to Value (LTV) atau Financing to Value (FTV) untuk kredit atau pembiayaan properti, serta uang muka kredit kendaraan bermotor. Kedua kebijakan tersebut berlaku efektif mulai 1 Januari 2027.
